Since being a kid of age twelve I began comparing what the bible was saying compared to what is going on in the news of this world. At that time I had not any type of decent understanding of the Book of Revelations but the book of Matthew delineated certain signs quite nicely. (Matthew 24)
Nowadays, I watch the news and see signs appearing that were not appearing before. It is the generational sign of being “godless” that stands out best and tehn I turn around and hear of so many in the news that are either going back to church or beginning attending a church so that it gets a little confusing.
Generations are many so which generations are godless? Thu is rather like asking how many hours in one day for God. 24? Timeless? No day at all as God is eternal? Or, is a day and night tied only to our planet which God was forming in Genesis?
It can get frustrating, trying to understand the bible correctly and God knows there are plenty of detractors poo-pooing the bible 24/7. It is a singular experience, reading the bible. And the bible says to discuss its message in such a way as to arrive at the proper answers. It is all there if we make the effort and from it comes peace of mind to those who learn to trust the Word. Just a rambling thought for today.
