The Tiny Scheme

Let’s just face facts here, shall we? We all make typos, right? It matters not a wit how long we’ve been pounding on keyboards our minds are just to full of trivia to not make mistakes. Trivial pursuits is not the way to wealth, comfort, or real estate. Rather, trivial pursuits is a board game played by people who live in the Tiny Scheme of things. People like me. The “Grand Scheme” has limits as to who it will admit. Age isn’t a factor in the grand scheme is it? If stuff is going to happen we are all receivers of that stuff. None of us gets out Scott free. Except maybe drunks? Well, there are exceptions to every rule.

I’ve long been concerned about the “Grand Scheme.” No more, as I am now concerned about how much longer I am going to be breathing so I have switched over to Tiny Scheme Anonymous. An organization of quite minimal membership as most people get caught up in the “Grand Scheme.” Getting caught up in a tidal wave is about the same as being caught up in the “Grand Scheme.” We live reasonably solitary lives with a wife, husband, children, and few friends. A solitary life when compared to the population of the planet. We just cannot get to know everyone now can we?

Tiny Scheme Anonymous is a quite small group of we who have shaken the Grand Scheme and are trying to get over it. Our membership is made up of those who have gone to war, those who have given up on government getting anything right, and those who just like to be in the shadows while this world hurls stones at the Grand Scheme and those trying to carry the load of the Grand Scheme. A load so heavy that a team of 3000 mules is needed to pull it. As we have plenty of mules in politics the Grand Scheme needs to grow a lot of hay. We are the mules. We are the Tiny Scheme Anonymous to the doltish politicians. We stand a chance only if the Grand Scheme does not shoot off the nukes. Am I getting this across? We are nobody except in God’s eyes. That realization is what life is about in case you were wondering. See how coyly I slipped in a reference to God. It takes a lot of practice to exist in the Tiny Scheme Anonymous organization. Now you know.
