I was considering the changes since I was, say, 10 years old . . . in 1958. I know, ancient history and believe me, I feel it. You know, numerical age is one thing but living through all those dratted numbers is quite another. Why couldn’t we just name each year for some special event or trip or something. “Oh yeah, I was Grand Canyon back then.” Doesn’t work very well does it? Skip my wandering into the basement of my mind. Back to reality!
Things have certainly change ain’t they. (notice my country type ain’t thrown in? It rather fits where I live but I am the least sophisticated man in this entire valley so ain’t is one of those words I hide in a blog but it felt so good to utilize!) Today is mindwander day for me. It kind of shows doesn’t it?
As you know, I screwed my leg up royally but I got out between raindrops today and got my forst two and one half miles of walking in. I’ve done so already but not in one concerted effort. Used to be four to seven miles per day but age is creeping in so I am aiming for three miles, maybe even four if things work out. And, yeah, it hurts a little but the alternative is to sit around feeling sorry for myself and get fat and die of a heart attack. That doesn’t appeal much to me. You? I thought so.
Did you know that this website has now over three million views? why? I really can’t answer that but it amazes me to no end. No, I am not complaining but I had to kick the horse power of this server up quite a bit. Normally my blogs get hundreds of thousands but not millions. You knew I had other blogs didn’t you? I will link them here in a day or two.
In the meantime be your best in life and don’t pervert your existence. Stay true to yourself and your family and let the idiots burn in hell. I will leave you with that so don’t be an idiot. That’s the devil’s province, not yours or mine.
