I built this “blog,” a word I dislike and stems from the old, “web log,” nomenclature from last century when the internet was for scientists who invented the technology, if I recall correctly. This site began as an idea but only after trials and failures that were kind of magnificent, looking back. I was learning code (HTML) way back in the late’90s. I guess it was a hangover from what I did in the Navy which was intelligence work. Quite hush-hush stuff that matters not at all now but giving any part of it away then would have landed me in prison.

My background is in thinking as I was the quiet type growing up. I make no claim to genius as that is a moniker with unanswered questions as to what a genius actually is other than a mentally incapacitated individual good at only one thing. I do know how to tick people off don’t I? I am neither a misfit, a genius or a prima donna. I am just me and that is all I will ever be until someone pulls the dirt over my face. Rest sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? I sleep not well since Vietnam so I make a sterling attempt to not allow those thoughts to interfere with what I place here. I’m probably doing a lousy job of this but at least I like Trump? You see, dichotomy after dichotomy with me.

Well I reach eighty? Doesn’t matter as I lived long enough to understand the reality of God and the nonsense of mankind. Science stands front and center in this nonsensical world. Nuclear weapons from the minds of mankind. So much for genius. I knew a garbage man, ran his own business is a small town, who had more common sense than any scientist. Hefting cans of garbage from small, residential cans in to a huge can over his shoulder and dumping that disagreeable stuff in a truck he owned outright with a heave of great strength. A guy who was loved but never famous. A love from his family only.

Life. What about it? It is what we make it and each generation makes poorer choices of what they make their lives about. This began on day one when Eve picked of the only fruit that God said she couldn’t in the entirety of the, then, brand new planet. She then got Adam to eat of it and they both found it delectable. A few minutes of directly disobeying God and look what they handed down to us. Of course, if you think that the story of Adam and Eve is fictive or an allegory then you’ve missed the lesson haven’t you? It has to do with final judgement as the first example made for mankind to learn was Adam and Eve. They lived until they died and that was the last we’ll will ever see of them. God made sure of it.

Do we learn the primer lessons any longer? Well, I guess we’ll find out quite soon, eh?
