For decades I have been considering what this world actually is. It has its good points, doesn’t it? The good points are to often overcome by bad points, bad actors, liars and deadbeats. A deadbeat isn’t necessarily one who is down on his or her luck. Deadbeats are those who think they know more than you or I. Those who look at our checkbooks while assessing just how hard we can be milked out of what little we have so they and their friends in high places can go our to sumptuous dinners on our dime. In a word: Politicians. Scoundrels is a word that fits these better than elected officials. Elected on lies! That they have office at all is our fault and the sooner we recognize that we are the ones they fool the better off this country will be.
My question is: When did we slide this far down? So far down that we consider what we’ve ended up with as just fine? It isn’t fine, is it? Or, it doesn’t affect me so just leave me alone, I’m good. Except, you have slept while the termites of government have eaten away the foundation of your government, the Constitution and Bill of Rights! Socialism does not work as it puts the government, scoundrels, in charge of everything we do no matter how minuscule. Want to go out to dinner? Ask a Czechoslovakian how well that worked under the Soviet Union. Ask a person in China the same. Possible, yes. Private, no.
America was a dream and what a dream she was. How many died to bring about what we are giving away? Are we coddled and warm now? For a time. Not if this government gets any more invasive however. IRS is one thing. Agencies we know nothing about are another. It is amazing how many cubbyholes exist in the Dept. of Justice now. Many more than we are aware of and that is just one arm of government.
Long ago last century there was a revolution in Russia. The Bolsheviks took the country by force and certain Americans at the time thought this was GREAT. Russia then became the Soviet Union; the nation that I grew up with on the other side of the pond. It was back in the times of the Bolsheviks that the “Progressives” got their start. The progressives are American communists, plain and simple and communists want to control you and I from waking to going to bed. They are sly dogs though aren’t they. Put all the blame on Republicans for the deeds they do and call the Republicans names on CNN or MSNOW.
The progressive deeds ruin our government and take our privacy and independence. Then they manage to shift the blame for their nefarious actions over on the Republicans. Republicans are either stupid or cowards as they can point this out quite easily with the proper amount of moxie. Instead, they hide by trying to get along. Get along with what? Selling out America to become the new Soviet Union. It should be plain as the nose on your face, unless you enjoy being duped. I, for one, hate being duped!
