Gone, now, is the understanding of the liberty we have in America. While England is jailing people for writing posts the government doesn’t like Americans can say dang near anything they want any place they want to say it. Were it not for this liberty we would already be serfs to some form of “collective” government. Cowboys would be put in asylums and I would be in prison. That is where it was going in the Biden government but an awful lot of people didn’t pick up on it. I recall being careful what I wrote because I didn’t know who was reading what I expressed. The NSA? Well, I soon got over it but the feeling it left me was one I want to keep in mind as long as I am enjoying America under Trump.

The good and lousy thing about free elections is that we elect who we want to lead us. Generally speaking, if we vote for the political right we are safe and steady but last time, before Trump, Biden got elected and freedom went on the auction block. We who write for the public knew this better than most. We kept on writing though. I suppose one gets used to being able to speak their mind.

A socialist government clamps down on free speech though they convince the weak minded that it is for their own good, it is for protecting them against scoundrels. Scoundrels like me. In the Soviet Union they killed millions who dissented from Stalin to Gorbachev. Gorbachev finally relented and made drastic changes that Putin has put back in place. Speak out of turn in Russia and you disappear.

With the Democrat Party it is getting to the same place as Putin versus Gorbachev. They are becoming communist sympathizers and recruiting socialists to their ranks. Recruits from higher education who are being taught how rotten America is and how it needs to be taken down as a Constitutional Republic. You are seeing this everywhere and wondering why this drastic evolution from free to imprisonment of free. Look no farther than Harvard, Princeton, etc. Look quick because these institutions are training young adults to be communists. Hopefully, Trump will stop this but I won’t hold my breath.
