Is it amazing, what we have now at our fingertips? Is the new world of ours stunningly magnificent? Hell, is it even fair? Or, is it same old, same old with newer stuff?
I go for the last one. I know, I am a curmudgeon of the highest order, inline only with second to the bottom if you count on your fingers. Toes don’t matter as they can’t peel a banana for most of us. Still these are amazing times we live in or are getting steadied up to die in. I may as well get my last shots in, I figure.
Of late I’ve been going on and on concerning God and politics, my two favorite subjects, but that is not what I started out to write about. What I began writing about several months ago was how stupid this world is now, was then, and, Oh, is now again (or is still). It’s a menage a trois starring an awful lot of people, not just three. Washington D.C. is where most of this starts then filters down to make our lives less moral. Lack of morality, lack of goodness in the population. When I say, moral, this is what is actually taking place. Stealing and lying is immoral. The aforementioned menage is also immoral. What happened to simple morality?
Well, it has been refined to the point of non-existence. You can’t be moral when anything goes so out the window goes morality with the baby and the bath water. Probably can’t remember which one of those guys the babies father is anyhow. The father’s don’t recall which woman they had a baby with either. Is this how it is supposed to be? It wasn’t like this when I grew up as the admonitions against anything sexual before marriage were off limits. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen but never to this degree since the days of Caligula or Genghis Khan. We can leave out Kennedy as he was a light weight and Catholic. Oh, he also started the Vietnam War. A little police action at first then full blown insanity later. It was fun over there and I had a great time! No, that isn’t true but, I did learn to kill.
You see, I’ve been around more than just an old barn somewhere out on the Prairie. I’ve been around more than just a city block. I am sick of war, sick of lying politicians, and sick to death of Democrat perverts. Other than that I am mentally fit enough to continue this little splat on the internet. I get a lot of visitors from China also. That is yet another subject of interest, no?
