Around the age of 65+ I got interested in the internet, Not just the net itself but how it worked and how I could read so much history and political information by so many different thinkers. So, I thought I would see what it was like to participate and write what was on my befuddled mind. Befuddled from combat for one and the difficulties I have been through most of my life since childhood. It was a rough start but I didn’t let it get to me. Being beaten up at six years old by a brother eight years older than I could have sent me on a different path. If anything stopped this from occurring it was my faith in God. Faith is a wonderful thing in case you are without it.That was early the last half of last century now. The ’50s!
Once I got interested in the internet and its mechanics I got a shared server at a hosting company and set to work figuring out how it all worked. Now, I have begun a tutorial website so that people can speak about servers, software, experiences or just life itself. That website is here.
Thus far I have placed two tutorials there worked out by myself and polished by AI. That way, I don’t leave out a comma or end up with just a single space that can screw up an installation. These are written for Linux Ubuntu 24.04 Noble. They can be used with Debian if you know what you’re doing as the two languages have a few vagaries in one versus the other.
Membership is open so you can sign up if you care to. I will see how long membership can remain open given the number of jokers on the internet. If my initial opening-to-all fails I can fix it quickly if needed. It is there if you are interested.
