I don’t know where these thoughts of mine come from exactly, but, they could be due to age or even frustration with not being smart enough to understand why some people have such high opinions of themselves. You know what I mean? Don’t we all have to take care of yesterdays meals the next morning? I call this the, “Great equalizer.”I don’t mean to be graphic or silly but humanity is what it is.

Granted, some are smarter than others but others deserve equal respect. I believe that this is the reason we see differences in all aspects of life or competition. You know, we are a competitive lot? But “book learning” only goes so far and I think this is the useless strap we impose on those who think they are geniuses. I am far from genius, as my writing shows but, then again, nobody owes me a living either.

Combat taught me a lot but those lessons didn’t appear until I got home intact, but for a loused up spine. I’ll take the pain because I have to be alive to feel it, kind of sort of thing. As long as it hurts I am taking breaths, right? So, what in blue blazes do those who consider themselves some kind of “Illuminati” think they are? Brilliant stars in the night sky? Don’t they have to use the toilet in the morning? Could this be part of the reason we have so many problems just living together? Me thinks yes. Full of yourself means empty of compassion for others and this goes against the teachings of God. In His eyes, we are all equal to a point. He does favor some over others according to scripture but I suppose you have to read the bible to see this for yourself.

Jesus, however, was the only human to ever have illumination as He knew what came after life. If we’re going to hold someone up as special, He is the only one who deserves that pedestal. That is what I think, if it matters at all to anyone. No pedestal for me, thank you very much!
