Do you feel, deep down inside (where ever that location might be within you) that celebrating the tick of a clock is worth all the hullabaloo? Where I am my cat has taken my seat where I sit to watch TV so I am down in my office and, once again on the computer. In approx. 5 hours the year will end or will it begin?
If the year is ending what does our Moon consider a New Year? It probably, and realistically, considers nothing but its craters and dust and a few tumbled rocks hither and yon. The Moon has to think about meteors, does it not? I would if I were that scarred just from sitting watching TV. The cat can be bad enough for scars but imagine sitting out where the Moon does and the psychological problems it must suffer from. Anthropomorphize is my middle name. It isn’t really, I just wanted to see if I could still spell the word and not have “Spell Check” berate me again. You think the moon has problems you ought to have my spell check.
Me, I have no problems except age but the joy of senility is far under rated. Seventy-seven, New Years and no birthday presents. I would say, “There oughta be a law,” but I think we have enough not being paid attention to. Happy Moon Year! See how I kind of slipped the Moon past customs? It was a huge caper and required a rather large truck but I did it!
