Guess what, I woke up early this morning and Christmas was over! Then I realized, I still have to go through the change of numbers and I thanked goodness that computers do that change for me. One less thing to reset. 2026? So what? Were peace and harmony breaking out all over I would think that Jesus has returned. That is what it will take for peace and harmony to break out you know. This is a fact set in stone and there is no way around it or mankind would already be totally broken out in peace and harmony. Long ago, I might add.
It’s a good thing we have nukes isn’t it? We haven’t had a world war since the advent of nuclear weapons but if this is peace and harmony, I got off the bus on the wrong planet. I kind of thought that peace and harmony would be loving and gentle with no disparagement of others by others. Hey, we’re not even close because we can’t seem to love one another as ourselves. Heck, I have to depend on computers to know my bank account! Whatever happened to paper? I used to have a bank book and a check book with which I used a blank piece of paper and pen to figure out how much I had and how much I owed. Here and there, like under a couch cushion, I find pieces of scrap paper with figures on them with numbers, computations, and dates of 1984. I haven’t used that bank in decades! Lousy interest rates!
Well, the good news is that as we dawdle away our lives Jesus is getting closer to us, time wise, that is. You wouldn’t know it by looking around the world at what we’re up to but this world is doing exactly what He said we would be doing around the time that He returns. Wars and rumors of wars. A godless generation. A generation full of self. The Earth is now ripe with expectation and this is exactly what He said would take place just, just, before He returned. Watch for the bus.
