Interesting how many uses there are for the word “depth.” Depth, deep, dive, diving. As a scuba diver I am familiar with depths as to the oceans. Never deeper than 112 feet with, I believe, a 12 minute stop at one fathom upon the return to the surface off Catalina Island, I ended up not diving much once separated from the Navy. So, for me depth, the definition, was looking for a place to be rediscovered and working on the internet seems to be the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have mentioned before that I follow code to build websites and use A.I. to help write tutorials for others to follow. It was a deep dive into servers that allowed me to do this. Still, it isn’t the same as diving through kelp and seeing a variety of fish that boggles the senses. Nope, code is more or less surgical in scope. You cut a vein or miss a micro procedure and your patient is dead on the table. Glad I am able to use words for descriptions of hours resulting in failure on servers. Then the mind puts one or two steps into logical sequence and the website bursts forth like a ray of sunshine through the fog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I suppose you would have to have been there? I miss diving but not the weight of the equipment. Back then I had a good back that was strong and a brain that was eager to help me accept challenges. The brain still works about the same except when I lay something down it doesn’t consider where I laid it important anymore. I seem to call my brain, Brian, when I type. Go figure.<\/p>\n
