Again."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, since I got out of the hospital, got home, gone to P.T. and quit smoking I go to my final appointment with the Doc who reset my right leg and gave me the scar on my butt. I don&#8217;t mind. I am walking again but only around our block. It isn&#8217;t a normal suburbs type block it is longer around but neither is it a city block. What counts is that I am walking without assistance like a cane or a walker. It does hurt a little but I&#8217;ve been walking for so many years (decades, actually) that it feels familiar and confortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thing is, my balance is not quite there yet so looking quickly over my shoulder has to be done more slowly than I am used to. I also put on the pair of shoes that I was wearing when i fell and broke the dang hip so I have that bug-a-boo taken care of also. It&#8217;ll be a while before I am doing three miles but I have a winter to get through so we&#8217;ll see how it goes. I could be dead so I will gladly take the recuperation and smile large while doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to all of you who stuck with me through this on Xog Zap.
