You know about you don’t you? I know about me, I hope? Is there hope? Do you know if you have hope? Let’s say there is no God. If this is the case how come this universe seems so correctly laid out so that a little, insignificant planet such as Earth exists right in the zone for there to be life. I know, an age old question proffered by thousands over the millennia. It is a good question though, isn’t it?
I have total faith and belief in God, His Son, Jesus and I have since around the age of eight. In a way, I had to as family life for me was less than ideal. Oh, I was loved, I guess. It feels better to say I was loved than to face the alternative. Actually, I was told I should have been a girl by one who should have kept his mouth shut. It didn’t sit well with me as I had no predilection to be anything other than what I was, a boy.
Today, I am seventy-seven and about half way through this year in the series of years since my birth. It is strange to believe, know, that God exists and is all He is said to be and yet to have so many deny Him and His Son, Jesus. For me it takes not a second thought and I owe it all to astronomy in college. Maybe a bit to chemistry also. Geology is interesting also when you get down to the construction of this planet to support life as it does and the atomic structure of molecules that bind all of this together.
You could say I have used my education to fight against those who educated me and believed in Evolution and all that comes from denying creation. Creation owes its being to thought. Magnificent thought processes for our universe to exist at all . . . when you get down on your knees and are grateful enough to thank God for your bread. How did the ingredients for bread in this universe of ordered chaos come to be? I’ll leave you with this to consider or, to get down on your knees and thank God you have bread to eat. Your choice of recipe.
