The last thing I needed was another website, when I got the idea for this one. In order to rationalize this website I sought a different lane of writing and thought. Irony is not popular but it is true and it exists here for all of us. Rather like an Easter Egg discovered under the couch in, say, July and it is 105 degrees outside. Air conditioning won’t help.
So, instead of an Easter Egg under the couch I decided it might be interesting just to do this as an experiment. Just to see if my way of thinking either was found entertaining or if it would be rejected. Either way, there is always another server for yet another website, another idea, or a 4th of July egg hunt in 105 degree heat. There’s a reason Easter is in the Spring, right?
As of today, which is eleven days now, there have been almost eighty thousand visits to this website. For me this sets a record I thought never to achieve.
I write this today just to say,Thank You, to all who come here for a little bit of nonplussed entertainment. I appreciate that so many have a sense of humor and actually seem to “get” me. Now I can tell my wife that I am not weird! She has continued to say I am weird for almost fifty years. You’d think she would get it by now, wouldn’t you? Nah, you don’t have to pick sides
