Ha! In the age we are living we understand not the basics but, rather, celebrate the weird, outlandish, and macabre. What a difference from the 1950s. Yeah, I AM going to harp on the past, old fart or not! Morality is the victim of progression. Simple telling of the truth is now couched in lie upon lie. From politicians to our neighbors lying is normal so expect it to be laid at your doorstep and don’t pay it no nevermind. B.S.
I don’t like being lied to and I don’t like liars. Telling the truth makes things so very easy. You screw up, you admit it and then we all can move on to friendly banter and kidding about yours and my screw ups. I have screwed up mightily in my days. An example, getting addicted to writing as I see things. I see things through the bottom of a root beer bottle. Still love that stuff. Nehi is gone, as far as I know but that was a roadside treat when we drove through Idaho in the summer of ’57. Hotter than hell it was to. A hundred and four in a ’57 Plymouth, windows down and an Interstate construction zone stopped us on the pavement for almost two hours. Torture. Plain and simple.
Speaking of, “plain and simple,” what in blue blazes happened to it? Convoluted and arcane is what we ended up with after plain and simple was educated out of existence. College graduates steeped in leftist ideology is what we got left with. Morons with degrees in B.S. It just never ends but this world as we know it will. A civilization cannot move ahead when stupid people run it. Instead it backs up to the cliff when the driver is looking forward through the windshield. Dumber than a penguin in the Mojave Desert. That’s the way we end America.
