Since I was a kid I have heard infinite ideas about life and the problems we have with our lives. Often, it is others alive, and many who are dead, that create(d) problems in our lives. The Soviet Union had Stalin and Germany, Hitler. Those two account for a plethora of problems for the entirety of the world. Trouble is, each of the aforementioned could only die once. Multiple deaths might be a solution for those causing problems but that isn’t how we have it. One death per person please, Stand in line! Stand in line! Hey you, single file! Moron. (muttered under breath)
So, I try my best not to cause problems but my very existence is a problem for some throughout my life. The Vietnamese had problems with me. On occasion my family has had problems with me and I them. I would surmise this was the advent of the circle? Ah, the circle of life. How quaint. You are born, you live for a very short while then you turn to mush in the ground. How exhilarating! And, HEY, if you’re lucky nowadays, you can even afford the down payment on a new car!!! Rats don’t have this problem and they eat our food and crap in our homes. Fairness? Fairness went away when we were created. Never. Never count on fairness.
I thought I would write an uplifting essay today and I got one word, your choice of word, in this little rant which might be construed as uplifting. “Kid” might be the word. I wouldn’t give a nickle to be a kid again. I am old and have seen more than I bargained for in my life. I still can smell death from a distance. Yet, I am a ray of sunshine for the few who have never counted on the government or others for helping them get through life. “Ray,” perhaps that should be the positive word in what I just wrote? Don’t worry, each day will bring a new me. I am never staid, I am always moving. Next up today I am getting my guitar out and playing it for a couple of hours.
