Don’t you just love the New Year, any new year. A year ago this year was a new year so how’d that go for you? One might think that any need for a new year means the old one sucked so a do-over is required. Then again, a new year means next to nothing if you begin it with an alcohol or dope hangover . . or worse, but, we won’t mention “worse,” OK?
Don’t drink and drive is the best idea for any year though I have to say, I drove drunk many a new year and never got caught or wrecked. Well, wreck as to head the next morning which is why I stopped drinking decades ago. Now that I don’t it means more booze for you though but take it easy. If two isn’t enough then one was too many, the way I see things now.
Still, I have to say that calm and together is the best way to spend New Year. Sober means you never have to apologize. (unless you’re just naturally annoying) You just had a wonderful time, maybe drove a drunk home and then you got home safely as did the drunk, for once.
