I have one social media account on X. I think I still have an account or two on other platforms but am not certain any longer. I kind of stopped using them because just normal conversations, such as problem solving or constructive discourse, seem not to be available. I enjoy politics but not as a main course. I mean, aren’t we all imperfect, last I looked?
Politics has always been known for idiocy, money laundering, and sexual shenanigans. Rarely for helping out the citizens. But, HEY, there’s always hope, right? Nah, hope is for eternity not for earthly. This is why I put more effort into being on the side of religion than on the side of earthly. This is also why I am somewhat, shall we say, not partial to idiots who know very little but are very loud. It took me years to get this through my daft brain but, once implanted has allowed me to steer a steady course. A course away from earthly pleasures and deeds and to a place of peace. Not harmony as I am still human but peace is good for now.
Breathing is something I always look forward to and never take for granted. The cessation of breathing does not bode well for tomorrow, does it? Tomorrow is uncertain at any age. Taking stuff for granted is a youthful proposition whereas, understanding that tomorrow may not arrive for one is the way life should be looked at. I went through combat to learn most of what stuck with me all these decades. A fine spray of crimson and a life is shut down, just like that. It’s a good lesson, huh? Take it with you from here if you get nothing else out of my prattle: life is fleeting. It has no guarantee and you’re better off not playing with your life doing idiotic things. The bible is a great way to slow down your jets. Read a paragraph now and then until you slow down and take stock in how valuable your life is to others . . . and God.
Peace.
